There are two types of faults within the system.
Standard Faults These make up the bulk of the fault trees and are used to present information to the user and get them to make a decision on how to proceed. Often there are multiple paths trough a fault tree until you have managed to locate a specific fault.
Resolution Faults These are used once you have got to a position within the fault tree that you can identify a specific fault, and therefore a resolution that needs to be taken. Resolution faults are made up of steps that the user would need to go through to resolve the fault that has been identified.
