There are two options when retiring a tree, both can be combined:
1. Hide a fault or fault and its subfaults. Hiding a fault is essentially deactivating it. Please refer to Activating / Deactivating a Fault.
A hidden / deactivated fault will still be accessible by users if they follow a direct link (e.g. a link to the fault was shared) or if the fault has a reference from other places in the system (e.g. from another fault).
Deactivated fault cannot be found using keywords.
2. Delete a fault or fault and its subfaults. Please refer to Deleting a fault.
