Create a train class

Creating a fault tree is essentially creating a train class and adding faults to it.

1.Click Administration from the top navigation 2. Select Trains. You can now either edit existing train (1) or add new train (2). 3. Click Add Train (2).

4. Provide a train class name (3), confirm NonToc is NOT checked (4)

5. Provide Administrator Email(s).

This email(s) will be used to send change request notifications when new change requests are raised for faults in this train class.

6. Choose Available Service Mode (e.g. In Service or [Answer] In Service). In Service is usually used for trains used during incident resolution process. 7. Choose a Route.

Routes are used to make reporting on incidents easier. In the reporting section you can search for incidents by routes. This allows to see incidents for all trains belonging to a specific route.

8. Click Save.

Editing a train

Sometimes, you might want to edit existing train (e.g. to add administrator emails so that to receive change requests). In this case, please follow our Editing a train guide.
