Editing a visual navigation

Creating a visual navigation works by simply creating a title, then editing. Please refer to the editing section for more detail.

How to create a visual navigation

A. Start editing a visual navigation

To start, navigate to the visual navigation page.

B. Drop an image

Drag the image into the grey square that you want to use. Ideally the image should be rather large as it will be difficult to draw on the small images.

C. Adding highlight-able sections

Now you have added an image, you can add sections that can be hovered over to reveal some information. Click anywhere on the image to add a starting point, and click to keep drawing the shape. Click on the original starting point to close the shape and open the information dialog.

D. Fill out information on what the highlight-able section should do

Once you have drawn your image, a dialog will pop up. Here you can add information about what you want to show when a user hovers over a certain part of the image. You can also set the "Links To" dropdown, which will allow the user to click a certain part of the image to open up another image, usually a enlarged version.

F. You can edit the highlight-able section from the panel on the right

If you need to make changes to any of the shapes you have added, you can do this on the right hand side of the page.
