Locating a fault for editing

Locate a fault through the following methods:

Faults & failures process

1. Select Faults & Failures from the left side bar

2. Check Training Mode (as we don't want to actually create an incident. This is done by clicking the checkbox. For some users this might be on by default.)

3. Select your Train Class

4. If relevant, select Service Mode

5. Select Category

6. Finally, select Fault

Keyword search

1. Select Fault Trees(default option) from the drop down next to the keyword search field in the navigation bar

2. Enter a keyword in the keyword search field

3. Select a fault from the drop down results

4. Locate a ⚙️ cog icon at the bottom left of the page

5. Hover over the ⚙️ cog

6. Select Edit Fault

Administration menu

1. Click Administration from the top navigation (1)

2. Select Fault & Failures Trees (2)

3. Select the Train Class (3)

4. If relevant, select Service Mode (4)

5. Locate fault (you can expand or collapse nodes within the fault tree until you find the fault you wish to edit) (5)

6. Click on the checkbox next to the fault (5)

7. Locate the Edit button at the bottom of the page (6)

8. Click on Edit (6)
