The following are the main parts of the home page:
Global navigation - you will always see this at the top of the page, it contains the following links to: Incident Assistance, Change Requests, Live Incident Dashboard, Reporting, Administration and Help. It also have a search bar where you can quickly search for a fault item within the system.
Quick access menu - this is where you can quickly get access to the following sections of the system: Faults & Failures, Rules & Regs, Assistance Matrix, Change Requests, Assessments and Log off the system.
Open incidents - this is where you'd be able to see all of your open incidents and quickly go to them.
Fault shortcuts - as the name suggest its a quick shortcut to faults you want to open an incident on or get access to.
Top 5 Faults - this is where you'll find the top 5 most used faults within the system and quickly get access to them.
Lets take a closer look into the global navigation bar
From left to right:
5. Reporting allows you to create reports on Assessments and Incidents.
6. Administration is packed with all of the objects in the system that you as an admin is able to edit, create and delete. You can see from the image below what those objects are:
7. Help have links to About (contains generic system information, e.g. version number), Change Log (see latest changes in the system), User Manual (pdf file of a shortened manual), Admin Manual (pdf file manual for all of the administrative features in the system)

2. Incident Assistance gives you access to the following sections of the system: Assessments, Assistance Matrix, Faults & Failures, Rules & Regs and Training. (See to find out what these are).
3. Change Requests . When you click this you will see all of your requested changes, and you'd be able to provide more information about it by editing your change request. (See to find out what this is).
4. Live incident dashboard . This is where you'd be able to quickly see all incidents that are open, what has been done on the incident and how long its been open.
8. Keyword Search is a search bar that allow you to quickly search for a specific fault using the keyword system. (See to find out how it works)
