Managing sub faults

Applies to: Standard Fault

Subfaults are child faults which belong to a parent Fault. Currently, the only allowed parent fault type is a Standard type.

Sub faults are displayed in a table on the right hand side of the edit screen.

Adding a sub fault

Adding a sub fault in this way is the same as adding a fault under a standard fault on the fault trees

1. Click on the add icon at the top right of the panel

2. A dialog will open up like the one below:

3. Enter the title of the new sub fault and select the type of fault (Standard or Resolution) 4. Click the Save button
