To explain what an associated object of type associated object is please see refer to image below.
1. On the screenshot below you see two faults, one called "Example Fault" and "Another Fault". Both of them have two associated objects called "Rule Book Home Page". They are both of type Associated object (1) & (2).
2. Both associated objects (1) & (2) link to another associated object which is a Global WebLink (3).
The Global WebLink (3) can be edited on a single page (Administration -> Global Weblinks) and since the faults (1) & (2) are referencing it, they will also be automatically updated.
Navigate to a fault for which you want to add reference to a global weblink (link) and follow steps below.
5. Once the associated object is added, you can link it (1). Once it is linked, it will appear in the body text (2). Click Save (3) to save your changes.
Navigate to a fault for which you want to edit reference to a global weblink (link) and follow steps below.
1. Click Edit (1) on desired associated item. Edit dialog will appear. 2. Select another option for Global Weblink (2) 3. Click Save (3) 4. Optionally, you can update the text of the link (4). If you update the text, click Save (5) to save the changes.
Navigate to a fault for which you want to delete reference to a global weblink (link) and follow steps below.
1. Click Delete (1) on desired associated item. A confirmation dialog will appear. 2. Confirm removal by typing "DELETE" (2) 3. Click Delete (3) 4. Update the body text by removing the link (4). 5. Click Save (5) to save the changes.
