This guide is related to managing references to Global Documents. Global documents are mainly used when creating or editing assistances (in Assistance Matrix). They can also provide information relevant to multiple faults. To learn how to manage Global Documents please refer to .
1. Click Add associated object button (1). A dialog will appear.
6. Click Link button (1) to insert a reference in the body text (2). 7. Click Save (3)
Tip: You can move the link e.g. [L ID=61772]Procedure[/L] to other place in the body text to manipulate position in the body text relative to other items.
1. Click Edit (1). An edit dialog will open. 2. Update information (2). 3. Click Save associated object (3) 4. Update Title if necessary (4) 5. Click Save Fault (5)
To remove InfoPage in a fault please follow the steps below:
1. Remove the reference in the body text (1). You can do it by selecting the link (e.g. [L ID=61772]Procedure[/L]
) and pressing backspace or delete keys.
2. Click Delete button for associated InfoPage (2) 3. Confirm removal (3) 4. Click Delete (4) 4. Click Save (5) to save body text changes.
2. Select InfoPage for Associated Object Type (1) 3. Provide a Title (2). Title is the text of the link users will see before clicking it. 4. Select from one of the existing options (3). If you want to create new option, please refer . 5. Click Save (4). After dialog closes, InfoPage will appear in associated items table.
