Weblinks enable you to define an external URL that can be associated to this fault.
Tip: If you plan to use the same external URL in multiple faults, we recommend using instead.
Before adding/editing or removing a WebLink, please of desired fault.
1. Click Add associated object button (1). A dialog will appear.
2. Select WebLink for Associated Object Type (1) 3. Provide a Title (2). Title is the text of the link users will see before clicking it. 4. Provide a URL (3). 5. Click Save (4). After dialog closes, WebLink will appear in associated items table.
6. Click Link button (1) to insert a reference in the body text (2). 7. Click Save (3)
End result example (click View while on Edit screen)
1. Click Edit (1). An edit dialog will open. 2. Update information (2). 3. Click Save associated object (3) 4. Update Title if necessary (4) 5. Click Save Fault (5)
To remove an WebLink in fault please follow the steps below:
1. Remove the reference in the body text (1). You can do it by selecting the link (e.g. [L ID=61770]Railway history[/L]
) and pressing backspace or delete keys.
If you cannot find any references of the link in the body text, it is probably shown as a button. Before removing it, confirm it is either replaced by another link or is no longer needed.
2. Click Delete button for associated WebLink (2) 3. Confirm removal (3) 4. Click Delete (4) 4. Click Save (5) to save body text changes.
